Single Entry Tourist Visa B211A
The Benefits of the B211A Tourist Visa
Single Entry Tourist Visa B211A is the ideal visa option if you are planning to stay in Indonesia for tourism and business purposes. This visa has a validity period of 60 days and it can be extended twice for 60 days each, for a total of 180 days.
Single Entry Tourist Visa is commonly referred to as Single Entry Visitor Visa. Primarily because it covers a broader range of purposes beside tourism and business, such as:
- Social purposes, including family emergencies, humanitarian aid and assistance, and fulfillment of summons in the judicial process.
- Government official visit.
- Sport activities.
- Transit.
As the name suggests, this visa only allows for a single entry, not multiple entries. Therefore, if you leave the country and intend to return to Indonesia, you must submit a new visa application.

Frequently Asked Questions About B211A Visa in Bali
The maximum validity period of Visa On Arrival is only 60 days, whereas Single Entry Tourist Visa is valid for up to 180 days. If you are planning to stay in Indonesia for more than 60 days, we advise choosing a B211 Tourist visa over a Visa On Arrival.
Another reason why you might want to choose Single Entry Tourist Visa is because Visa On Arrival is not entirely available for all nationalities. It’s only viable for 96 nationalities, which you can see here.
Mentioning all the countries or nationalities will be a tough list to read, so we’re going to list the countries that are not eligible for a B211 Tourist visa, which includes: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Guinea, Israel, Cameroon, Kosovo, Liberia, Nigeria, North Korea, and Somalia.
Those who plan to stay longer than 180 days can apply for KITAS. KITAS or a Limited Stay Permit is a visa option that allows you to stay in Indonesia for 6 months or more and enter the country multiple times without requiring another visa. There are different types of KITAS you can choose based on your purpose of visit, such as Spouse/Family KITAS, Working KITAS, Investor KITAS, Retirements KITAS, and many more.
Onshore basically means you apply for the visa in Indonesia, while offshore means you do it outside Indonesia, can be in your home country or the country you’re visiting now besides Indonesia.
No. B211A visa is a Single Entry visa, meaning that it’s only valid for a single entry to the country. If you are planning to enter and exit Indonesia multiple times, opt for a KITAS or a Working Permit.
E-visas are issued by the country’s immigration authorities and are stored electronically to the traveler’s passport. Kamala Visa Bali provides both services so you can get your visa from the comfort of your homes. Contact us for more information.
