To extend your VOA directly to the Immigration office (either in the Jimbaran office of Nusa Dua), you will need to visit there three times, you will need to provide the following documents:

1. Complete the visa extension application form.
2. Passport, with at least six months validity remaining. Submit a copy of the main page, visa page, and the page containing your current visa stamp.
3. Evidence of a return ticket on onward travel.
4. Proof of sufficient funds to support your stay in Bali (e.g., bank statement).
5. Payment of the visa extension fee.
6. Then come again to take your biometrics (fingerprints and photo).
7. You will receive your passport in a couple of days.

An electronic VOA or e-VOA is also a great option if you don’t want to queue at the Immigration office. The process is online so you can do it easily. Note that it’s only available for 92 countries on the Visa on Arrival holders list.

If it turns out that your visit takes more than 30 days, you can extend your VOA once. With this extension, you can continue your stay in Indonesia for another 30 days.
