What is the Second Home Visa (E33)?
With the release of Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights No. 22 of 2023, the government announced the Second Home Visa with an index number of E33. This visa is extendable and has a validity of 5 to 10 years, allowing the holder to:
- Carry out many business and investment activities.
- Bring eligible family members and sponsor them for the same visa.
- Work in Indonesia if the conditions are met.
This long-stay visa is part of an initiative intended to attract qualified foreigners who will benefit the country’s economic development in return for providing them with a welcoming environment to establish a second home in Indonesia. The Second Home Visa (E33) not only promotes foreign investment but also aims to foster cultural exchange and collaboration.
